Questions & Answers

Below are some of the most common questions we receive. If you don’t see your question answered here, feel free to reach out — I am happy to help.

General Questions

Do you only photograph Catholic weddings?

Yes. While I am happy to photograph other types of ceremonies when space allows, my primary focus and passion is photographing Catholic weddings. I have a deep respect for the sacrament of marriage and the beauty of the Nuptial Mass.

Are you a practicing Catholic?

Yes. I am a practicing Catholic and a former U.S. Marine. My faith is central to how I approach wedding photography. As such, I strive to capture your wedding day with reverence and care.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I regularly travel throughout Texas (Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and surrounding areas). Travel fees may apply depending on the distance from the DFW area. I am open to traveling out of state if your budget allows for the travel costs.

Wedding Day Questions

Will you be respectful during the Mass?

Absolutely. I treat the wedding liturgy with the utmost respect. I move discreetly, avoid using flash during the Mass (unless permitted, and only during the exit procession), and never interrupt the ceremony. My goal is to document the sacred moments without becoming a distraction.

Can you photograph the entire Mass?

Yes. I photograph the full wedding Mass, including the procession, readings, homily, exchange of vows, the Eucharist, and the final blessing and kiss.

Do you work with a second photographer?

I offer packages both with and without a second shooter. A second photographer is especially helpful for larger weddings or when you want coverage of both the bride and groom getting ready.

How early do you arrive on the wedding day?

I typically arrive 45 minutes to one hour before the ceremony to capture getting-ready moments and to scout the venue.

Pricing & Booking

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding season (spring and fall). Many couples book 9–12 months in advance. However, I am open to receiving short-notice bookings, as long as I have availability.

What is included in your packages?

All packages include professional coverage, edited high-resolution images, an online gallery, and a print release. Higher-tier packages include engagement sessions, bridal sessions, second shooters, and more images.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 50% deposit is required to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your wedding.

Are payment plans available?

Yes. I offer flexible payment options. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss a custom payment plan.

After the WeddingWhen will I receive my photos?

You can expect to receive your fully edited gallery within 30 days of your wedding. Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee.

Do you provide prints or albums?

I do not personally offer prints or albums. However, you can select and order prints via the Pixieset online viewing album (I will get a commission).

Will I receive a print release?

Yes. A print release is included with every package, allowing you to print your images for personal use.
