I. Inquiry

Congratulations on your upcoming Catholic Wedding! We connected, and I am SO thankful!

This is the first step in The Process. You likely found me on Instagram,  Facebook, was referred to me by word-of-mouth, or even on Google (if you looked up "Texas Catholic Wedding Photographer").

You likely looked at my website or Instagram, browsed my feed and portfolio, and thought "Yes - this is the photographer I want to photograph my Catholic Wedding!"

Then, you clicked on the "Book Today!" link, was led to the HoneyBooks information form, completed it and sent it over to me!

From here, you patiently await my reply. I'm usually up early to have coffee, pray, check my emails, and make my to-do lists before hitting the gym and going to Mass.

II. Connection

HoneyBooks is the Client Relation Manager, or CRM, software I use. When I get an inquiry, HB notifies me. I view your inquiry, check my calendar, then send you an email which includes:

- Initial Greeting

- Confirmation of Availability

- Phone Consultation Request

- Price Brochure

After gym and Mass, I'll send an email and text to you with my full and complete presence. If I don't hear back from you in a week or so, I will send a courtesy follow-up to check-in with you.

From there, we will schedule a phone or zoom call, or even a coffee hang-out, to get to know each other and so I can learn exactly what you want from your investment in me as your trusted Catholic wedding photographer.

After meeting and deciphering all the details, we can move forward with the concrete items where I send:

- The Quote & Invoice

- The Official Contract

- The Photo Release Form

The Quote & Invoice:

The quote will contain the agreed upon package and rate, the mileage driven and cost of travel ($.58 per mile), important notes such as date and time of your wedding, as well as the location of the church, reception, and "getting ready" locations.

Near the bottom, you will see the "Subtotal" (will be higher), followed by any discount and the tax rate (6.25%). Then, the quote will display the "Grand Total".

Worthy of Note: While I have my Price Brochure, I understand that everyone has a unique financial situation. Therefore, I encourage my clients to pray about the quote to verify if investing in me makes sense for their wedding budget and vision.

Once the quote is accepted, I will change it into the invoice, wherein clients can submit the 50% deposit through Honeybooks (deposit percentage is negotiable upon request).

You will see your "Payment Schedule" at the very bottom of your invoice.

Upon receiving the deposit, I will send a Google Calendar invite where your wedding day is labeled as "confirmed". Payment of the remaining balance is flexible, and can be made as custom installments, or lump sum, just as long as it is paid in full by your wedding day.

Use of Deposit: I will use the deposit to hire a trusted "Second-Shooter" (if requested) who I know will do their best to Glorify God, with all their considerable effort and skill, while being present and respectful during your Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Additionally, the deposit may be used for things such as equipment rentals, repairs, or purchase or anything of that sort to boost my creativity and effectiveness as your photographer during your wedding day.

The Official Contract:

Simultaneously, I will send your unique Official Catholic Wedding Photography Contract for your review.

This document contains all the details and includes:

- Description of Services

- Performance of Services

- Payment

- Cancellation policy

- And More

I will answer any questions and provide clarity as needed along the way.

The Photo Release Form: This document is pretty straightforward. The key takeaway is that it acknowledges that you give me permission to use the images of your wedding in any way I see fit for purposes such as advertising and marketing.

Homework: During the waiting, I only ask for the following items:

1. Official Wedding Day Itinerary

2. Post-Ceremony Family Names List and Groupings

3. Image Requests

Once the 50% deposit is paid, and both the official contract and photo release form are reviewed and signed by us, we enter a season of eager anticipation for your upcoming wedding!

I will keep in touch with you to stay in the loop of things (via texting, phone calls, or emails). I understand life happens and plans can change, so as long as we communicate I can remain flexible.
