...A monkey can be trained to press the shutter.  No, we are both humans. We feel deeply and intensely and we yearn to be seen and known. Who you choose to share in your moments matters -- for therein lies the great power and responsibility of the true photographer. The true photographer dies to self and becomes fully immersed, entwined, and unified in your precious moments.  The true photographer is not afraid to feel what you feel. The true photographer gives until it hurts and then keeps giving until the vision is realized and the mission is accomplished. The true photographer, in short, knows how to love and does so unlike any other. There fundamentally is no other way to effectively freeze your precious moments in time for you and your posterity.
